A solo violin is a model inspired by the school of Brescia and Cremona. This instrument combines the qualities of an exceptional concert violin that can be played as a soloist, in chamber music, or in an orchestra. The originality of the varnish, the quality of the architecture of the vaults and the choice of woods provide great flexibility of play. The richness of the timbre characterizes this instrument with great sound power.

Prices & Initial contact
The price of a solo violin is currently 50k euros.
The violins in our instrumental collection not intended for sale are available without delay, by appointment and in our presence only. This first contact is a concrete approach to our work, it allows an essential exchange between the artist and the luthier.
For France, appointments are only possible at the Provençal workshop, in Paris, Lyon and Saint-Etienne. Appointments can also be organized during trips abroad, particularly in Asia and especially in Taiwan.
Availability and testing
If you wish to acquire an instrument, a period of a few months is necessary. Any borrowed violin must be returned regardless of the artist's decision within 15 days from the date of the loan. An instrument can be entrusted to you for a period of 1 month to choose serenely. A security deposit of 2500 euros is requested by bank transfer and will be returned at the end of the trial.
Order
To acquire the desired instrument, the sale is sealed by the bank transfer corresponding to the price of the instrument excluding packaging, shipping, customs and various taxes.
For any reason, if you are not satisfied with your violin, you can return it to the Provençal workshop address within one month and we will refund you within 30 days of receipt of the instrument.
Insurance, maintenance and adjustment.
During trial periods, our instruments are covered by our insurance. Depending on requests, Mathieu Névéol can provide maintenance, adjustment and repairs to violins. All this work is carried out at the Provençal workshop, by appointment only.
